Today's tour is the final tour of all my Christmas tours! And I like to say it's the best one... since it's just so cozy :) You may have noticed that I'm quite the fan (quasi hoarder) of pillows and blankets. But, they just speak to me and I'm not afraid to have to many of them. I have six throw blankets in my master bedroom, three of which are directly by the bed. And well, pillows are just uncountable at this point :) But, all those extra layers sure just reminds me of cozy Winter days.

For Christmas in here, I removed my normal foliage and added some flocked Christmas trees which adorn most of my house. I also added some 'snow-kissed' garland on top of our headboard.

A new addition in here are these lamps. I switched my old ones out with the ones in my daughter's nursery, and love the new look! Sometimes you just need a small update to make a room feel fresher.

I also switched up the pillows a bit. I went with an all white theme in here. I usually throw punches of tan or red for Christmas, but decided against it. These euro shams are new, and love the ruffles on them! They match my other bedding beautifully.

Keeping with the mostly white them made the wood tones in here just pop.

As for plans in here, I have some great ones in mind. I just have to decide to actually do them :) But, it's always fun seeing how much does change in a space from year to year. Here's my current bedroom once again:

And then how much it has changed since last year's Christmas tour:

Decorating for Christmas is a labor of love, and even though I had this room decorated the day before Thanksgiving, I just barely stopped playing around with things. I finally have it the way it will stay until Christmas day.

This the the room that I "can't" touch with anything Christmas until after Thanksgiving according to my husband. It's our tradition to bring out this tree and decorate it Thanksgiving night. Which really becomes me staying up until 2 in the morning decorating it by myself. The only reason why this tradition started was because my husband wouldn't let me do anything beforehand. We recently had a conversation with his family about mixing Christmas into Thanksgiving, and he said that we need to celebrate them separately...yada yada yada. I then remembered that he liked to start listening to Christmas music on Thanksgiving, and questioned him about it. Why can he listen to Christmas music, but I can't have Christmas up? He said it was because Thanksgiving is the gateway to Christmas, so he could listen to Christmas music. Then I said..."Well, then we need Christmas up during Thanksgiving." He said I had to separate the two holidays. He didn't realize how contradictory he was being until I brought it up. And long story not short....I got to put this Christmas tree and all my decor out the night before Thanksgiving this year. Now, you know what that means? I'm just going to push it earlier and earlier every year :) haha

As for the decor this year in this room, it was actually all neutrals up until two days ago. I decided I needed to add a little bit of red into it. Not much, just hits of it here and there.

As much as I want a flocked tree in here, I decided to keep this one going again this year. I brightened it up a bit by adding flocked stems, flocked snowflakes, and white ornaments.

Here's a look at the other corner of this room. Come this New Year, I'm planning on finishing off all the board and batten in here. I guess it's about time to do so :)

My mantel is one thing that continues to change. I'm usually never completely sold on how I decorate it for Christmas. I just stop at some point and leave it. Since you know, changing it up 8 times a day for a week is normal :)

My small added pops of red with the blanket and the plaid pillows pull the little red details on the mantel through the rest of the room.

Welcome to the Meaningful Holiday Home Tour hosted by the lovely Laura from Meaningful Spaces! If you are new here and coming from Rachel's blog Rachel Elizabeth Creates, welcome!  And if you aren't, still welcome :) Throughout today and the next few days, 11 other wonderful bloggers will be sharing their Christmas tours with you, so be sure to check them all out at the end of this post for more decorating inspiration!

Last week, I shared my front living room with you all, and today I'll be sharing my dining room. Our dining room is the heart of our home where almost everything happens. And besides that, it's also one of my favorite rooms in my house :)  This year for Christmas, I went with a completely neutral theme in here. We have absolutely no snow yet, and it's kind of weird truthfully. So, I decided to make my house a winter wonderland and use almost all white with the decor in about every room.

So, without further ado, enjoy!

PS. Don't mind my crazy beat up table. It's showing its wear and love well :)

For the tablescape, I went with a winter-y forest, using 3 different types of trees. I added a little sliced wood piece to bring in more of the feel and texture.

Jute Chargers: Ikea      Table Runner: Home Goods     White Wood Christmas Trees: Gordmans      Flocked Tabletop Trees: Target

For the table settings, I simply placed a plate and alternating bowls onto jute chargers. I then finished it off with handmade flannel napkins and a pine cone in the bowl. Come entertaining time, the pine cones will hold someones name on a simple card.

Here's this room from a different angle. I have some great plans for this ceiling that will hopefully happen in January. It's going to transform this space! I'm so excited :) Now, if only I can get away with doing it before my husband realizes what's happening lol

And because he's in like half of my pictures, I figure I'll add him into the tour. This pup is getting so big! I can't wait for him to figure out what Christmas and stockings are all about!
