You guys! It's been snowing all day and we have like 10 inches of snow so far. Nothing like a whole bunch of early December snow to get you in the holiday spirit! This week I'll be sharing the rest of my Christmas home with you room by room. Today, I'll be sharing my front living room decor in part of the Meaningful Holiday Home Tour series hosted by the ever lovely Laura from Meaningful Spaces. If you haven't check out her beautiful home, be sure to do so! I'll have links to everyone's tours at the bottom of the post. So, be sure to check out all the inspiration!
My front living room is usually the first room to be decorated for Christmas. I've been holding my breath all month waiting to share it...well, all November and this month :) I have something super new (but old) in there and couldn't wait to decorate it for Christmas! First off though, here's the entry to room. I love these barn doors during this time of year, they are perfect to hang wreaths on.
You can get a little peak of my new addition in this picture. As you can tell, it's brown, so I moved my starburst mirror over the couch to balance it out. I also added my favorite deer burlap pillows in here next to a sweater lumbar pillow. I switched out my normal springy wreath on the blanket ladder to a snowflake.

I ended up adding this window frame and flocked grapevine wreath in place of the large sunburst mirror. I found this cute sign, and didn't realize how many trees I ended up adding here after all was said it done. I could seriously have my own faux Christmas tree farm :) I usually have stockings hanging up in here, but decided to not add them so I could show off the mantel even more.
(Christmas Tree: Walmart)
For my bench, along with the dough bowl I added my favorite winter cable knit blanket.
I then filled my dough bowl with mini flocked crystalized trees, greenery and pine cones.
If you know me, I love lots of layers of things and empty spaces bother me :) Sometimes I have to let them be, but sometimes I like to do what I can to fill them in. That's what this space was between the tree stump and tree. I decided to keep the candlesticks going down to the tree with help from books.
I still just love this view. It's been weird getting used to have a big brown blob in the middle here though, but I'm sure I'll get over it.
Here's a good look at all the trees I have in here besides the two on the opposite wall. See? Overboard :)
As always, I like to throw a picture of my pup because goodness knows either his ear or his tail were in about half of them anyway :)
